The hard part of a christening usually isn't the church — it's finding somewhere for forty relatives to eat and talk afterwards that isn't a corner of a pub. Notesable Events is a private space on 31 Old Chester Rd in Bebington, held just for your family for the afternoon or evening.
Christening bookings run for three hours with an hour of setup access first, so the cake table, favours and seating are ready before the first car pulls up from the service. Food and drink come from you, which keeps a buffet, an afternoon tea or a full caterer entirely your choice.
Styling is booked alongside the room. The LED cross comes as part of the Christening package, and flower walls, light-up pieces and live sax or bongo players can be added to the same booking rather than chased around three suppliers.

The decked terrace off the main room is where the group photos happen: godparents, grandparents and the baby, with somewhere quiet to sit if feeding or naps are needed.
An hour to set up beforehand
Setup access starts an hour before your guests do, so the LED cross, favours, guest book and seating plan are all in place before anyone arrives from the service.

You can. Food and drinks are supplied by yourself, so you're free to bring a caterer, a buffet, an afternoon tea or a bakery christening cake without any venue catering minimum.
It is. The space is on one level with room for prams and car seats, tables and chairs can be laid out for a seated meal, lighting stays soft rather than nightclub, and CCTV is in operation on site.
Where a package or hire item includes balloons you pick up to three colours in the booking form — white, gold, silver, baby pink, baby blue, rose gold and more — so the styling matches the christening gown or church flowers.
Adults are welcome to drink and add-ons such as the prosecco wall are available. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on anyone under the age of 18 consuming alcohol in the venue.
Your date is held with a fixed £50 non-refundable deposit whatever the booking total. The remaining balance is due the day before your event, and Klarna and Clearpay are available if you'd rather spread the cost.
